Rhett Huebschmann I'm pretty sure if you took all of the 90s alternative and fed it to an AI algorithm, this is what it would spit out. All the influences mentioned are here, and I think I may have even picked up a little Local H in there. This album made me think I was 17 again, and it's the summer of 94. All that's missing is a heroin overdose (please don't.) Favorite track: I Wanna Die.

Max Dread I have seen this excellent band live, but I missed this 2019 record. Glad to be catching up. I like how Bleach Garden owns and embraces its influences, which allows for a direct channeling of their passion into these songs. A band that knows what it wants to be. The songs are tight and finished like a Pixies or Nirvana, but also unrestrained and exploratory like a Sonic Youth or Melvins. Heavy and explosive, with just the right balance of melody and hook. I'm in. Favorite track: Parasite.
